Is It Time?

Knowing when it may be time to say goodbye is one of the hardest decisions a pet owner can face. If your pet is experiencing more bad days than good, struggling with pain or mobility, no longer enjoying things they once loved, or having difficulty eating, drinking, or staying comfortable, it may be time to consider their quality of life.

There is no single right answer, and you don’t have to make this decision alone. We’re here to help you understand your pet’s condition, talk through their quality of life, and determine the most compassionate next step for you and your pet.

Euthanasia

Choosing euthanasia is one of the most difficult decisions a pet owner may face, but it can also be a final act of love when your pet’s quality of life has declined.

What should I expect?

Our euthanasia process is designed to be peaceful, gentle, and free from pain. Once you and your veterinarian have decided that euthanasia is the kindest option, medication is given to help your pet become deeply relaxed and comfortable. You are welcome to stay with your pet throughout the process, taking quiet time to say goodbye. Our team will be there to guide and support you and your family every step of the way.

Aftercare

After saying goodbye, you’ll have several options for your pet’s aftercare. We’ll take the time to explain each option and help you choose what feels right for you and your family, whether that is private cremation, communal cremation, or another arrangement.

Our team will handle your pet with the same care and dignity we provide throughout their final moments, giving you space to grieve and remember the special bond you shared.
