Tsawwassen Animal Hospital

Delta Homeless Animal Fund
Tsawwassen Animal Hospital started up the Delta Homeless Animal Fund in 2002. Since then, we have been spaying and neutering feral cats that are re-released where they were caught, or we find them new homes if they are adoptable. We also provide medical care for stray cats and kittens (many of which are the result of unspayed feral cats) and then adopt them out to suitable homes. The Fund relies on the good-hearted clients at the hospital to donate money. We donate surgical and medical care for these animals; the fund covers costs for medications and supplies. We are very proud of the work our fund enables us to do and we are happy to help these animals.

Since 2002 the DHAF has helped hundreds of animals. This includes:
Surrendered pets – often with medical conditions.
Stray cats, kittens & dogs from Delta and Point Roberts (many of which were very sick upon arrival)
Feral cats/kittens we spayed/neutered and re-released
Feral kittens we socialized and adopted out
Cats and kittens, we have helped treat and adopt out for the Delta Community Animal Shelter
